When Gate is Staffed
Unless using remote in right lane, enter in left entry lane and check in with attendant, slowing down so attendant can see GHOA sticker.
Remote Opener
Enter in right lane, press Button 1 for Old Highway 50 gate; Button 2 for Glenbrook Road Gate. Sensor is located in the Control Panel under Attendant’s window.
Pass Card
Place your pass card in front of card reader for appropriate gate located left of control panel under the Attendant’s window.
4 Digit Pin Code
Using the control panel under the Attendant’s window, press # and your pin code. Your personal pin code is operable 24 hours a day – only give to friends and family that you want to give 24 hr access – the gate system records will reflect usage of that code as usage by you. If you have a worker that needs access between 7am-6pm Monday-Friday and/or 8am-6pm Saturday & 9am-5pm Sunday (permitted contractor hours) or a caretaker that needs 24 hr access, please have them contact the GHOA office and we will issue them their own vendor access card.
Call Your Residence
If someone is at your residence, a guest or yourself can call your residence for access. Using the directory/ telephone system on the control panel under the Attendant’s window, scroll to your last name and press “call.” When answered, have the person in residence press “9” for entry through Old Highway 50 gate or “5” for entry through Glenbrook Road Gate. Use this method for guests and deliveries arriving at the Gate while you are in residence.
Call a Friend
Same as above, but use the control panel telephone system to call a Glenbrook friend to authorize your entry.
Call the Answering Service
Available 24 hrs a day, using the telephone system on the control panel, scroll through the names to “Answering Service” and press “call.” You will be asked to identify yourself and give your mother’s maiden name, or a code name that your family all agree to. The answering service will open the upper or lower gate that is requested. Remember this is a 7 day 24 hour service. Call the office if you are not sure you have provided the code name to sign up for this service.
